Thanks to all who came out to support the Ride for Randy on Saturday, July 16. We raised over $3,000 to support the RPM Award and the RPM Luggage Lottery! See photos from the day here. Save the date for the 9th annual Ride: Saturday, July 21, 2012! Each July on the weekend closest to Randy’s birthday we invite friends, family, and the public to join us in celebrating Randy’s life. We ride, walk, or run the Cape Cod Rail Trail to get some air in our lungs, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and raise money for aspiring Olympic athletes. Donations raised at the Ride for Randy fund the awards given to RPM Award winners. So far we have given away over $8,500 to skeleton athletes, and we are just getting started! In the 2009-2010 season we began the RPM Luggage Lottery, reimbursing two skeleton athletes each season (one male and one female) for excess baggage fees incurred in the course of their travel for training and competition.
